Lauren Redican is a multidisciplinary artist whose work includes video, drawing, sculpture, text, installation and public presentations. Her work often addresses aspects of authorship, drawing, the body, and her installations both play with and critique the role of language in the production of meaning.

 

Redican holds an MFA from Massey University School of Fine Arts, New Zealand. She has held residencies in China, Germany, Singapore and New Zealand. Her work has been exhibited in Australia, China, Germany, Singapore and New Zealand. Redican is currently based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand.
