Virginia Lo is a Hong Kong artist whose painting practice explores her emotional reaction to place. She reflects on the streets and sites that she witnesses on a daily basis. This place, Hong Kong, which she has called home for her entire life, becomes strange and unfamiliar.

Lo has an MFA and BFA from RMIT Australia and is a part-time lecturer at Hong Kong Art School.
