Bio
Kay Mei Ling Beadman was born in England of mixed Chinese and English heritage. She is particularly interested in exploring the complexity of dual identity through the presence of the body. Her practice is multidisciplinary and includes painting, text, video and installation.
Beadman has a BFA from Reading University, UK and an MFA from RMIT, Australia. Since 1999, she has lived and worked in Hong Kong. She has exhibited in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Serbia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and the UK.
